The principal behind HedgeLender LLC is Daniel W. Stafford, founder and President. Mr. Stafford is formerly of the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for US trade, technology and finance development communications in the Office of Undersecretary for International Trade under Stuart E. Eizenstat and David M. Aaron. Mr. Stafford was also tasked to the Clinton White House to assist with China MFN legislation for the Executive Office of the President, and was part of national policy projects including the National Export Strategy, the Framework for Electronic Commerce, the Emerging Markets Initiative, and NAFTA legislative efforts. Prior to his work in the US government, Mr. Stafford was employed by Communications Satellite Corporation's (COMSAT) Advanced Systems Division, where he was responsible for finance and proposal development for international satellite telecom projects in Asia and Latin America.

Mr. Stafford holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Business from the University of Chicago, and is a specialist in Asian trade and finance.

We are licensed under the California Finance Lender law to provide our services in that state, and since January of 2008, have implemented a top-down/bottom-up due diligence and verification system as we converted our product line to institutional services. Today our financing programs are arranged and managed solely through the facilities of licensed advisors at fully regulated lending institutions, and we consult with our legal staff to ensure that every action and step has been thoroughly vetted with our counsels before undertaken.
